The New Media and Communication Technologies Laboratory aims to equip our students, who aim to become experts, academics, and next-generation communicators working in the field of new media, with the necessary technical knowledge and skills. The laboratory is equipped with a technological infrastructure that keeps pace with digital innovations and enables the development of content in various formats.
In this unit, our students can work in various fields, such as multimedia journalism, using next-generation technological tools, depending on their chosen area of expertise. Additionally, courses such as Internet Journalism, Web Design, Basic Software Knowledge, and Computer Applications, offered by various departments of our faculty, are conducted in this laboratory. Our laboratory, which can be used outside of class hours, is equipped with 28 computers loaded with programs required for departmental courses, and one projector.
