Where to apply for internships?

Students' internship applications are made to the department/program internship committee. Where can I find internship documents??

Where can I do an internship?

Students who will do their internships in the field of journalism can do their internships in newspapers, agencies, news centers, press units, and municipalities.

Whose responsibility is it to find my internship?

It is the responsibility of each student to find a job that the Internship Committee can approve.

In which period can I do my internship?

Students can do their internships during the summer months at the end of the 6th semester.

Can I do my internship on any date I want?

Internships must be completed within the dates determined by the Faculty of Communication.

How many days is the internship period?

The internship duration is 20 working days (excluding public holidays).

A full working day for internships is calculated as 8 hours.

A week cannot exceed 6 working days.

If a Saturday is worked half-day, it is considered a half-day.

Can I take leave while doing my internship?

Internships must be completed without interruption (except for accidents, health problems, or death of a first-degree relative).

Leave of absence cannot exceed 10% (2 days) of the internship duration.

A student who is absent for three consecutive days without leave or an excuse, or who has more than 10% absence, will be deemed to have failed their internship.

What should I do if I cannot continue my internship?

Students who will not be able to continue their internship must notify the department internship committee in writing within 5 business days.
